Alvin L. Morton, III, M.S., is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Kinesiology, Recreation, and Sport Studies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. His research is focused on the effects of high-intensity interval training on chronic disease in sedentary and underrepresented populations. Mr. Morton is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine. He earned both a B.S. and M.S. degree from Northeastern University in Exercise Science.
