Compete against teams across the region to claim the title of 2025 Northland ACSM Student Bowl Champions!

The winning team will compete at ACSM's Annual Meeting in Atlanta, GA May 27-30, 2025!

Trophy and Award

The winning team will receive a permanent plaque for their school and will possess the traveling NACSM QUIZ BOWL TROPHY CUP for 1 year.
The winning team will be sponsored by the Northland Regional Chapter to represent the region at the National ACSM Quiz Bowl.
The Northland Chapter ACSM will assist lodging and travel costs involved in having the winning Northland Chapter ACSM Quiz Bowl team representing the chapter at the national event. There may be additional expenses to participants and to schools of the team for meals and incidentals.

Entry Procedure

Teams must be entered via an email sent by the faculty sponsor to Dr. Shane Scholten, Northland Chapter ACSM Past President (shane.scholten@dsu.edu). Entries must be received by Friday, March 21st, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. CST
The entry email must include:
1. Institution Name
2. Faculty Sponsor (First name, last name, email address)
3. 3 student members (First names, last names, email addresses)
4. Team names and priority rank (if entering more than 1 team from the same institution)

Northland ACSM Student Scholarship Instructions

The Northland ACSM Student Scholarship offers financial support to students attending the upcoming NLACSM conference. Awards of up to $200 per individual are available and can be used for expenses. To apply, complete the application by responding to the provided questions, and submit your responses by February 20, 2025.

Recipients will be notified of their award status on March 3, 2025. Scholarship funds will be presented in person at the NLACSM conference on Saturday, April 5, 2025. To qualify for the group hotel discount, reservations must be made by March 6, 2025.
