This meeting will bring together undergraduate and graduate students, researchers, and professionals in the field of exercise science to discuss and share insights on the importance of physical activity and exercise across the lifespan. This meeting aims to bridge the gap between research and practice, showcasing innovative approaches and practical applications in exercise science for optimizing health and performance throughout the lifespan and in special populations. Any content or projects related to the broad exercise science umbrella will be considered and are welcomed.
Attendees will explore cutting-edge research, innovative interventions, and practical strategies for integrating physical activity into daily life and structured exercise programs to optimize health and performance for various populations.
Consider submitting a proposal to share your expertise, scholarly work, or evidence-based practices to change the way we work to actively understand and focus on physical activity and exercise with our clients, our athletes, our clinical populations, or in our communities.
Presentations should be 50 minutes in length with approximately 5 minutes for questions and discussion. Presentations will be in person on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.
Saturday, April 5, will follow the traditional Northland ACSM Meeting tutorial format where sessions are interactive and include a more hands-on or movement-focused approach. If you feel your proposal is aligned with this format, please identify your choice accordingly.
