What an incredible year it’s been! Thanks to the skilled and dedicated leadership of the Board of Trustees, hundreds of member volunteers and our talented staff, we have set an exciting course for ACSM’s bright future!
In the past year, the ACSM staff team has worked hard to support members by providing new and updated member benefits, aligning internal operations to support ACSM priorities and continuing to enhance value for members and certified professionals. We are excited to share some of the major steps taken to ensure ACSM is the membership organization of choice for all individuals involved in the sports medicine and sports science profession:

Implementing a new technology infrastructure that will provide easier access, more convenience, enhanced value and an exceptional member and customer experience

Fully operationalized ACSM’s Customer Experience Team to provide extraordinary member and customer service

Secured several advocacy and policy successes on behalf of the profession and our members and certified professionals

Developing a new brand strategy that will tell the ACSM story in a fresh, vibrant and relevant way, all while positioning us for continued leadership and success

Enhanced member communications by redesigning the member e-publication, The ACSM Bulletin, and introducing a new leadership publication called The Dash

Implemented new financial policies and passed a balanced budget for 2023 to ensure effective stewardship

Evolved our organizational structure and committed to enhancing talent to meet the needs of the organization
